Can I use my NAYAR ring directly after receipt?
Activation is necessary before being able to use it.
Activating it consists of connecting your NAYAR ring to your compatible payment card via FIDESMO PAY app.
Do you provide help to configure and activate the NAYAR payment ring?
A guide is provided with the ring upon delivery to guide you through this simple and easy step. Nevertheless, if you still need some help, someone from the NAYAR team will help you to configure and activate your NAYAR ring.

Is an IOS or ANDROID smartphone necessary to allow activation?
The activation of the ring requires the use of a Smartphone with the NFC option (see below) as well as the FIDESMO PAY application. This application is available for free download on the APPLE store as well as on the PLAY store. All iPhone generations have NFC functionality.
After activation, the use of the ring is independent of the operating system of your phone. You can of course make payments without having your phone with you.
Is my mobile phone compatible for setting up my payment ring?
My payment ring is compatible with the majority of smartphones that have NFC functionality.
Most smartphones are equipped with it. When opening the FIDESMO PAY app, you
will be prompted to enable NFC if it is turned off.
How to activate NFC?
Make sure that the NFC function is active on your phone.
Take the one page manual that comes with your ring. Scan the QR code with your smartphone. This will direct you to the link to download the FIDESMO activation app from the Apple Store or the Play Store.
After downloading, open the FIDESMO app. Place your ring on the back of your phone. Move the ring across the back surface of your phone until you feel a vibration, indicating that the ring has been detected. (After detection, please do not change the position of the ring.) Then, follow the instructions provided by the FIDESMO app.

How to position your phone during activation?
First, make sure your smartphone, On Android, verify that NFC functionality is available and enabled. On iPhone the NFC is functionality is active all the time.
The positioning of the ring in relation to your smartphone is crucial for successful activation. This positioning varies depending on the brand and model of the smartphone.
If your smartphone has a protective case, start by removing it.
Also, be mindful of the surface where you will perform the activation. It should be flat and non-metallic, as any metal objects could
interfere with the process.

iOS Devices
Place your ring flat on a table. Position your iPhone so that the ring is in the top left corner of your phone. (See Blog: How to

Android Devices
The ideal spot is generally at the back of the device. Hold your ring flat in your hand and slowly move your phone over the ring to find
the optimal spot. A vibration or signal may occur depending on the model.
Generally, the ideal spot will be in the center of the back of the phone, but it may be elsewhere, so take your time to find the perfect position.
