Is the NAYAR ring safe?
Security is guaranteed thanks to the VISA and Mastercard certified chip inside your NAYAR ring. Complying with European PSD2 standards (requiring a PIN code for payments over contactless limit), your NAYAR ring is at least as secure as your bank cards.
What's more, if your ring is lost or stolen (which is less likely than with a wallet or phone), you can block it via the FIDESMO application, making it impossible for anyone else to use it. With FIDESMO app, you have a number of security features at your disposal:
- Temporary blocking and unblocking of the ring at any time,
- Complete blocking in the event of loss or theft.
Are my bank details secured?
The security of your data is our greatest concern. NAYAR does not store any of your bank details or transactions. Your data is protected by the strictest Mastercard® and Visa® security standards.
NAYAR only uses your name, telephone number, e-mail address and delivery address to ensure safe and successful delivery.
Is it possible to suspend payments for my NAYAR ring?
Yes, of course. NAYAR products offer, among other things, temporary suspension of payments and blocking in the event of theft or loss.
With the FIDESMO application, you have a number of security features at your disposal:
- Temporary blocking and unblocking of the ring at any time.
- Complete blocking in the event of loss or theft.
In the event that you no longer have access to your FIDESMO application, blocking the card connected to the ring will render it unusable.
How can I suspend payments for my NAYAR ring?
Using the FIDESMO application allows, among other things:
- Temporary blocking and unblocking of the ring at any time.
- Complete blocking in the event of loss or theft.
What do I do if my ring is lost or stolen?
If your NAYAR ring is lost or stolen, you should block the ring or the credit card linked to the ring.
With the FIDESMO application, you have a number of security features at your disposal:
- Temporary blocking and unblocking of the ring at any time.
- Complete blocking in the event of loss or theft.
In the event that you no longer have access to your FIDESMO application, blocking the card connected to the ring will render it unusable.
In the case of a CURVE card, simply go to the ‘Account’ area of your application, then block the card in the ‘Manage’ function.
Can I track my ring if I lose it?
Like a payment card, it cannot be tracked because there is no geolocation function. If your ring is lost, however, it can be quickly blocked via the FIDESMO application.

- Complete blocking in the event of loss or theft.
In the event that you no longer have access to your FIDESMO application, blocking the card connected to the ring will render it unusable.
Are accidental payments possible?
For a payment to be validated, the payment terminal must be within 3 cm of the ring, pointing towards the NFC reader, and the contact must be maintained until the beep. Accidental payments are therefore unlikely.
If you work with payment terminals on a daily basis, you can use the FIDESMO application to temporarily deactivate the ring's payment function during working hours.
Does my ring have an expiry date like bank cards?
All payment methods require an expiry date to comply with current security standards.
From the date of purchase of your NAYAR ring, you have 6 months to connect it to your bank. After these 6 months, it is likely that the connection will work perfectly, but we cannot guarantee this. After connection, the product has an expiry date of 3 years. This date is not linked to that of the associated bank card.
When your bank card expires, the details of the new card issued by your bank will be automatically updated in your ring. So you won't need to change your ring or reconnect your card to it.
